Weight Loss Meal Plan for Women
It’s easy to feel defeated while working to transform your body, but what’s important is to never give up!
Over the weekend, Jenna Jameson shared a motivating message to all of her social media followers who might be doubting whether they’ll ever be able to see the changes they’d like to in their bodies.
Sharing a side-by-side photo of herself in her underwear when she was pregnant with daughter Batel Lu, along with one after she shed more than 80 lbs. following the keto diet, the former adult film star, 44, reminded her followers to be patient with themselves.
“When you start to doubt yourself ladies… Remember we can do THIS,” she wrote alongside the images.
She also added the hashtags: “#strongmom #pregnancy#postpartumbody #ketotransformation#bodypositive.”
The outspoken defender of the often-criticized diet has previously opened up about how it’s important to love yourself at all stages.
“I was just going through my images and I came across these beautiful pregnancy pics we took in Palm Springs,” she wrote last month, alongside another set of images that showed off her dramatic transformation. “I was 38 weeks pregnant and felt like a truck.”
“But I’ve never felt more beautiful than when I was with child,” she revealed. “I remember feeling so frightened for when my daughter was born and I couldn’t blame being heavy on the pregnancy. Ugh. I prayed for breastfeeding to give me an easy way out. It didn’t. I was scared my belly would sag down and never tighten.”
Though Jameson acknowledged that her concerns sounded “vain,” she went on to share her belief that “every mama on earth silently worries” about the postpartum weight loss and reassured her followers that regaining their bodies after giving birth was possible.
“Yes we love our babies and we would do it over again in a second, but we sacrifice so much!” she continued. “This after picture shows that we can do it! We can regain ourselves. We can do it without surgery (not that I’m against surgery) So to all of you sweet pregnant mamas out there or you newly postpartum mamas… I see you.️”
Jameson first tried the keto diet last March as a last-ditch effort to lose the baby weight that stuck around after she gave birth to her daughter in April 2017. Due to her noticeable results, Jameson has been a proud supporter of the high-fat, low-carb diet, often opening up about her experiences with it on social media.
Despite her successes, not everyone has agreed with her opinion of the eating plan — notably celebrity trainer Jillian Michaels — but Jameson doesn’t believe others should be bashed for trying.
“10 months living the #keto lifestyle. Easy? It is now. Sustainable? Absolutely,” she wrote last month, alongside a shot of the mother of three wearing a bright bikini.
“Keto has a lot of critics, but always look behind their anger towards this way of life,” she added. “There is always something for them to gain by trashing it. We all need to celebrate anyone’s effort to get healthy!”
“Reading all of your dms describing your pounds falling off is the highlight of my days… so keep it up and stay focused… bikinis for everyone ” she finished.
In addition to her daughter, whom she shares with fiancé Lior Bitton, Jameson is also mother to 9-year-old twin boys Jesse Jameson and Journey Jette Ortiz from a previous relationship with former UFC champion Tito Ortiz.
